Link not loading? Don't panic. Follow the ancient ritual:
- Check if your device has IPv6 enabled. It's usually hiding in your network settings, sulking, waiting for someone to believe in it.
- If it's off, turn it on. Yes, it's really that anticlimactic.
- Still nothing? Time to call your ISP and lovingly interrogate them about their IPv6 support.
- If they say "IPv6? Never heard of that" — congratulations, you have identified a dinosaur-tier ISP.
Any Internet Service Provider still clinging to IPv4-only in this day and age has,
scientifically speaking, earned a glass case and a little plaque in a
museum of extinct technologies, somewhere between the fax
machine and the "You've Got Mail" sound effect.
So go forth. Enable IPv6. Yell at your ISP. Free yourself from the Jurassic web.
No dinosaurs were harmed in the making of this page. Your ISP's dignity, however, may not survive.
